  3.      The file "CJO01C.zip" has been made available to your
  4. sysop. This is ComputerJournal Online (CJO), and it's a 
  5. colorful magazine on the world of computers and technology, 
  6. covering everything from how things work to why they don't.
  7.      In one issue of CJO, you may find an article on local-
  8. area networks and a list of things you can get for free; 
  9. next time it could be virtual reality, computer-aided 
  10. design, and two guys arguing over the use (or uselessness) 
  11. of pen computers and "personal digital assistants." Have you 
  12. ever wondered how and why gray-scale monitors are different 
  13. from monochrome monitors? Maybe not, but CJO's going to tell 
  14. you, anyway. Did anything really useful result from the 
  15. billions of bucks the government put into the program that 
  16. let a dozen former test pilots kick up dust, collect rocks, 
  17. plant flags and hit golf balls on the moon? CJO's going to 
  18. open that can of worms.
